''Bigger, better, faster, smarter'' There are so many enhancements bundled into the CoolPix 950 that it's literally hard to know where to begin describing them! For starters, it sports a 2.1 megapixel, 1/2-inch CCD sensor, producing images up to 1600x1200 pixels in size. (Nikon's resolution tests showed a very real increase in usable resolution, resulting from the increased sensor pixel count.) A total of three image sizes is supported, with three different compression levels available for each, and an additional, uncompressed storage mode at the highest resolution.
Features:
· New 2.11 Megapixel 1/2 inch CCD provides photographic image quality at print sizes up to 11'' x 14''
· 3x optical Zoom-Nikkor lens and 4,746 step autofocus control for sharp images with excellent color and contrast
· High speed continuous shooting of up to 2 frames per second
· Nikon's exclusive 256-element Matrix Metering system for superb exposures
· Aperture and Shutter Priority exposure modes for creative control
· Save images in uncompressed TIFF or one of 3 JPEG compression modes for different storage options
· High resolution, 2'' LCD display allows real-time viewing of shots
· New optional Nikon 2x Telephoto lens plus fisheye and wide-angle lenses
· 8MB removable CompactFlash memory card stores up to 128 pictures
