· Connects to a PC via a KanguruCable (USB, Firewire, Cardbus/PCMCIA, or Parallel. Please note that our pin-outs are proprietary!
· Cables can be interchanged with other Kanguru Products (except the USB cable)
· Can be used for data backups as well as playing MP3s.
· MP3 selection can be setup using Windows Explorer. More specifically, one would set up a "Favorites" folder which would be the first songs seen by the unit once powered up. User can add additional folders or sub-folders sequentially and scroll through the folders with the hand controller.
· Folders can be rearranged in the Windows Explorer program and play sequence will be altered accordingly.

· On/Off switch allows user to toggle without turning the PC off. Ideal when used as a standalone unit.
· Auto-off feature (idle mode) when unit has been in idle status for an extended period of time prevents drive from overheating.
· Option of adjusting volume using hand controller, or audio speaker controls.
· Has all of the characteristics of the KanguruPortable regarding data storage (drive imaging, transfers, backups, etc).
