DigMedia's MusicStore is an audio jukebox, which can record, store, play, and manage up to 200 CDs in MP3 format on its internal hard disk. (See encoding rates below) It is also equipped with a built-in CD drive. For output, it connects to a conventional hi-fi amplifier, active speakers or headphones. The supplied software MusicMatch will allow easy management of all MP3 files from the Internet. Includes one SoulMate portable player.

MusicStore's greatest benefit is its convenience, power and flexibility in the selection of music to be played. Finding an album, artist, compilation or track to be played couldn't be easier. Simply enter a name and MusicStore will search for the music. There's no more need to scan through your collection looking for a particular CD. Simply type in the CD title or artist's name and press the play button. MusicStore's random playback feature allows you to play a complete selection of music by your favourite artist or in a particular style quickly and easily.
When using its inbuilt CD player, it can record a copy of the music from every album played. The user has facilities to name all albums, tracks and artists and to assign a style to each piece of music. Music can then be selected and played by name or style.
MusicStore provides a plug-in slot for the SoulMate portable MP3 player and supports an extremely fast download (approximately 7 seconds for 1 hour of music).

· Play music by track name, artist name, music style/genre, album name, mix name or random.
· Select music (by track name, artist name, music style/genre, album name, mix name) to add to a mix/compilation.

· Play modes for mixes or albums:
· Normal: Play each track once in sequence
· Repeat: As above, but repeat the same sequence
· Shuffle: Play each track once in random order
· Repeat/Shuffle: As above, but keep repeats in random sequence
· Operating System update from CD-ROM for easy upgrades.
· Delete music facility, confirmation is required to prevent accidental erasure.
· Rename albums, tracks or artists.
· Specify unique bass/treble settings for each music style/genre.
· MusicStore automatically reverts to standby mode after 30 minutes of inactivity. This mode consumes less power. MusicStore can be re-awakened by pressing any key.
