Simply stated, the Expansion Pak is a special cartridge that contains an additional 4 Megabytes (MB) of Rambus RDRAM memory. When inserted in the "memory expansion" port on the top of the N64 memory is added directly to the N64's existing 4 MB of memory, bringing up to 8 MB of contiguous main memory. |
